Join RISE for Youth for an interactive discussion of the school to prison pipeline and juvenile justice reform in Virginia. The panel for the night will include impacted youth and families, local government leaders, and school officials. The event will be moderated by Jeree Thomas.
The event will feature the Performing Statistics Project, specifically work created by youth incarcerated in Richmond’s Juvenile Detention Center. The event will also include performances by Teens with a Purpose.
